Description
Senior Application Engineer for a young, privately funded startup lead by an experienced management team.
Responsibilities
The Senior Application Engineer will report to the Director of Engineering and be a major contributor on a small, tightly-knit team of senior developers and scientists. He or she will be actively involved in all stages of product development.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
•5-7 years of software development experience.
•BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
•Strong OO experience.
•Experience in Java/J2EE. C++, XML and SQL.
•Experience deploying on Windows or Linux.
•Experience with Eclipse, Subversion and other SDLC tools.
•Experience working in a small team or startup environment
Plus’s
•Imaging experience and Test Driven Development is a strong plus.
•Experience building, integrating and extending Open Source projects and code.
•Experience with C#, Ruby, GWT or Javascript
