Responsibilities
• Manage our social networking accounts. Interact with the online communities and develop content for social media.
• Develop social media tactics to promote relevant content and educate the market on the new high tech trends.
• Be the eyes and ears of our product and technology and protect our reputation and brand.
• Keep up and react to online conversations relating to relevant technologies.
• Monitor blogs and other online content. Be the voice of the company in Social media, blogsphere, forums, external sites, etc.
• Connect with community leaders; be proactive in establishing relationships to develop positive press.
• Monitor company blog comments, forum comments, twitter comments, etc.,
• Prepare weekly reports and show improvement towards establishing a large web presence.
• Stay up-to-date on new social media tools, best practices and how other companies are utilizing them.
Requirements
• An undergraduate degree is required.
• Passion for social networking and collaboration technologies.
• Technology enthusiast and eager to learn about the latest products and trends.
• Knowledge of the bloggers in related fields.
• 1+ years of experience and success in online community development.
• Strong technical knowledge of social media trends, community platforms, systems and software.
• Experience in IT infrastructure is a plus.
