Description
Design and develop electro-mechanical components for medical devices
Responsibilities
• This engineer will be part of a team developing and manufacturing electrical and electrical-mechanical medical devices.
• Candidates will be responsible for prototyping, designing, developing troubleshooting, failure analysis, verification/validation testing and generation of protocols as well as documenting test reports.
• The engineer will participate in design reviews, presenting results of formal analysis, generating project progress reports, and investigation summaries.
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of electrical design experience
• Experience with analog/digital circuits, electrical-mechanical drivers and various types of sensor design
• Experience in medical device process design and development is preferred.
• Candidates are required to be fluent in component specifications, schematics, layouts, and test procedures. In addition candidates are required to have an understanding of project planning, and product development process.
