Description
Mid-level Quality Engineer to test electromechanical components of medical device
Responsibilities
Provide QA Engineering support for medical products and provide support for various Quality Management System programs.
• Support new product development activities including providing the quality plans
• Assist with the management of the Complaint Handling program
• Support the operation and maintenance of the ISO 13485-based Quality Management System as required
• Participate in problem solving and other work improvement activities
• Review designs and specifications
Requirements
• BS in Engineering with 2-3 year medical device experience
• Experience in durable equipment marketplace or strong design control background
• Electrical safety testing experience
• Electro-mechanical testing experience
• Verification & Validation experience
• Ability to work with external suppliers, internal customer support and field reps regarding product quality problem
• Root cause analysis, CAPA, complaints exposure
• Statistical experience (i.e. Minitab) a strong plus
