Description
Client server software engineer with experience working with capital equipment.
Responsibilities
6-10 years of academic and professional experience with C++ or C# is required with at least 4 years with C#, with specific experience working in product development in an equipment-centric industry (Automation, Medical Devices, Manufacturing Equipment, etc) is preferred. Additional experience with a variety of development environments, development tools, verification tools, operating systems and/or scripting languages is a plus. The senior software engineer must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
Hands-on level collaboration with automation equipment vendors to assure real-time software and interfaces are implemented consistently throughout the system, compliant with industry standards. Responsibilities include design, implementation, verification, troubleshooting and debugging of a variety of software modules and applications developed in C#/.NET. The engineer will follow a process with appropriate rigor to the criticality of the application (life-critical, mission-critical, etc).
